If the project is suitable, I will send you a written proposal confirming the project scope, starting format, expected timeline, full price, any premium material cost, and deposit amount.
A 50% booking and development deposit is required before consultation or creative work begins. The project is not booked until the deposit has been received.

We will have a focused conversation about the space, its purpose and the desired scent direction. Private home consultations usually take 20 to 30 minutes. Business consultations usually take 30 to 45 minutes.
Consultations may take place online or in person where practical.

I will create two scent directions based on the agreed brief. Development usually begins after the consultation.
The first trials are normally prepared within 7 to 10 working days.

You will receive two labelled scent trials with clear evaluation instructions. You will test them in the intended space and select the direction you prefer.

One focused refinement is included where required.
A full change of direction or substantial reformulation may require an additional fee. Any extra fee must be approved before further work begins.
Final approval and balance

Once the final scent is approved, the remaining 50% balance becomes due.
The finished diffuser will not enter production until the full balance has been received.

The final diffuser will be blended, rested, checked and prepared for collection or delivery.
Most commissions take approximately 4 to 6 weeks from consultation. The timeline depends on material availability, client feedback, testing and delivery.
Private Home Commission
From €395
The final diffuser size, vessel, quantity and material allowance will be confirmed in your proposal. Some formulas may require premium naturals, absolutes, specialist aroma materials or custom presentation. Any additional cost will be agreed before development begins.
A 50% booking and development deposit is required before the consultation or scent development begins. The remaining balance is due after final scent approval and before production.
Business Signature Scent
From €750
Business commissions are quoted individually. The final price depends on the size and number of spaces, fragrance formula, materials required, diffuser format, number of vessels, desired scent presence, production volume and delivery requirements.
A 50% booking and development deposit is required before consultation or creative development begins. The remaining balance is due after final scent approval and before production.
Scent trials and finished diffusers are currently dispatched within the Republic of Ireland. International enquiries are welcome; overseas delivery must be confirmed and quoted individually before a commission or deposit is agreed.
Scent Replenishment
Once your fragrance has been approved, you may request further production of your private formula.
Replenishment is priced individually according to the final formula, cost of materials, quantity required, vessel and presentation format, current raw material prices, packaging and delivery.
Minimum production quantities may apply.
You will receive your personal replenishment pricing after your final formula has been approved.
What affects the price?
Every scent is different.
Some briefs can be achieved with a focused formula and widely available materials. Others may require rare naturals, absolutes, specialist aroma materials, custom vessels or extended testing.
Your proposal will confirm what is included.
There will be no unapproved charges.
Payment terms
A 50% booking and development deposit is required before the consultation or creative work begins.
This deposit reserves development time and covers the consultation, research, formulation and preparation of scent trials.
The deposit becomes non-refundable once the consultation has taken place or development has started.
The remaining 50% balance is due after the final scent has been approved and before production begins.
The finished diffuser will not be produced, released or dispatched until full payment has been received.
Payment terms may be adjusted for larger commercial projects and will be confirmed in writing.
Project timing and client feedback
Most commissions take approximately 4 to 6 weeks from consultation.
The timeline depends on material availability, trial resting time, testing, delivery and client feedback.
Projects may be paused if feedback is not received within 30 days.
Projects inactive for more than 90 days may require a new consultation, revised pricing or an additional development fee.
Reactivation depends on material availability and current production schedules.
Your private formula
Your approved fragrance formula will be securely archived by Avilés Fragrances for future production.
The exact finished formula will not be added to the general Avilés Fragrances collection or supplied to another client as the same bespoke scent.
The written formula remains the intellectual property of Avilés Fragrances unless a separate written transfer or licensing agreement is completed.
Individual materials, techniques, scent families and creative ideas may also appear in other Avilés Fragrances work.
Business use and project scope
The standard business commission applies only to the named business and the agreed location or spaces listed in the proposal.
Use across additional premises, franchises, resale products, third-party locations or electronic scent systems requires separate written approval and pricing.
Business clients must disclose if the fragrance will be resold, transferred into other vessels, used in electronic diffusion equipment, distributed as a consumer product or used across several locations.
What the standard service does not include
The standard commission does not include unlimited revisions, a complete change of creative direction, formula transfer, commercial fragrance licensing, large-scale manufacturing, electronic scent diffusion systems, custom vessel manufacturing, brand packaging design, regulatory work for resale, or multi-location business use.
These services may be discussed separately.

Signature Space Scents are created for environmental fragrancing through the agreed diffuser format. They are not perfumes for application to skin. They must not be ingested, applied to the body or used outside the supplied instructions. Delivery options remain subject to carrier rules, destination restrictions and the classification of the finished product. International delivery is quoted individually and may not be available for every destination.
